Details of PO Vacancies in Indian Overseas Bank
Name of the Post- Probationary Officers (PO)
No of Posts- 1500 posts
Qualification- The applying candidates should have completed their graduation or degree in any stream from any recognized institution/ university. Desirable qualification- Diploma in banking and finance from IIBF. Computer knowledge is required.
Age Limits- The candidate should be between 21-30 as on 1st July 2011. For OBC candidates the upper age limit is 3 years and for SC/ST candidates it is 5 years.
Who are Eligible- IBPS qualified Candidates with 120 (For General Category candidates). 105 in Total Weighted Score (For SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates).
Salary- The selected candidates will be placed in any Indian Overseas Bank branch with pay scale of Rs 14500-Rs 25700. The probation period is 2 years.

What is the Selection Process ?
Indian Overseas Bank may hold Interview/ Group Discussion between May/June 2012 for the shortlisted candidates according to their Total Weighted Score. All applied candidates may not be called for interview cause the bank has the right to select only applicants with high scores.
