Staff Nurse Vacancies in S.C.B. Medical College Hospital of Cuttack

1. Name of the Post- Staff Nurse
2. No of Posts- 155 Nos (For S.C.B. Medical College Hospital, Cuttack), 30 Nos (For Mental Health Institute under COE), 4 Nos (For Transplantation Unit).
3. Salary- The Staff Nurses will get consolidated salary of Rs.5200 per month.
4. Eligibility- Candidates must have passed B.Sc Nursing of General Nursing and Midwifery examination from Govt/ Govt recognized institution. The applicants must have registered their names in Odisha Nursing Council.
5. Selection- Selection of the candidates shall be made on merit basis.

Pharmacist Vacancies in S.C.B. Medical College Hospital of Cuttack

3. Salary- The Dark Room Assistant will get consolidated salary of Rs.5200 per month.
4. Eligibility- Candidates must have passed Radiographer course from any of the 3 medical college.
5. Selection- Selection of the candidates shall be made on merit on the basis of marks secured in OMRT examination.

General Conditions

1. The candidates have to apply to the Superintendent, SCB Medical College Hospital, Cuttack- 753007 by registered post/speed post only. The application should reach within 15 days from the date of publication of advertisement. No application shall be entertained beyond the stipulated time.
2. The selection of the candidate will be made according to merit as per Govt. guideline.
3. The engagement is purely temporary and shall be terminated at any time without assigning any reason thereof.
4. Age limit – As per the norm prescribed by the State Govt.
5. Nature of engagement: Contractual for one year to be renewed on satisfactory performance and subject to signing of agreement as prescribed by Govt. of Orissa Finance Department.
6. Reservation: Reservation as per the prescribed norm of Govt. shall be applicable.
7. Undertaking: The selected candidates will have to submit an undertaking to the effect that they will not claim any Govt. post/regular appointment in future. They have to also undertake that they will not claim any financial benefit other than the monthly consolidated remuneration they receive.
Candidate appointed on contractual basis shall not claim for inter district transfer.
8. The candidates belonging to the Cuttack District will be given priority in appointment. In case the vacancies are not filled up, applicants belonging to the other district will be considered. (Not applicable for the post of Staff Nurse)
9. After appointment, the candidates shall arrange their own accommodation.
10. One envelope should contain only one application.
11. Applicant should clearly mention the category of post applied for on the top of the envelop and application form also.
12. The selected candidates from the merit list shall be engaged in Mental Health Institute.
13. The Merit list shall remain valid for one year from the date of its publication.
14. The Superintendent reserves the right to reject/ accept/ cancel any application without assigning any reasons thereof if it is found incorrect/false or incomplete.
15. The candidates are required to enclose the following documents along with the application form.
(a) Attested Xerox copy of HSC/Equivalent Examination Certificate along with mark sheet for all the candidates.
(b) Attested photocopy of B.Sc. Nursing/ General Nursing and Midwifery Examination certificate along with mark sheet and registration certificate of the Orissa Nursing Council. (For Staff Nurse Candidates only)
(c) Attested photo copy of Diploma Pass Certificate and mark sheet and registration certificate of Orissa Pharmacy Council. (For Pharmacist Candidates only)
(d) Attested Xerox copy of DMRT pass certificate and mark sheet (For Radiographer and Dark Room Asst. Candidates only)
(e) Attested Xerox copy of DMLT pass certificate and mark sheet (For Clinical Psychology Lab. Asst. only)
(f) Attested Xerox copy of ECG/EEG training pass certificate and mark sheet (For ECG/EEG Technician only)
(g) Two self Addressed envelopes size 24x10cm duly stamped (Rs. 22.00) in each envelop for one post.
(h) Two passport size photographs (02 nos.) duly attested by Gazetted officer with seal.
(i) Attested photocopy of Caste & Residence Certificate.
