Eligibility
- Nationality: A candidate must be either a Citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan or a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Educational qualification:
Office Assistant (Multipurpose):
- Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent
- Essential: Proficiency in local language
Officer Scale-I:
- Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.
- Proficiency in local language
Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer:
- Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- Two years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
- Certified Associateship (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
- Certified Associateship (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Post graduate Degree in Finance from a recognized university/ institution.
- Post Graduate Degree in Marketing from a recognized university.
- Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy Science/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture or allied specializations or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate
- One year experience required.
Officer Scale-III:
- Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institutions
